Charles Dickens in the 21st Century

2012 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens. But what does this Victorian author have to say to those of us living in the modern world?

In this talk we will explore the fascinating and surprising facts about the man and his times. We will also discuss what makes his work special and particularly relevant to our world today.

Brian Engquist

Brian Engquist is a long-time resident of Spain, having spent the last 20 years comfortably settled in his adopted home of Madrid where he has taught English, worked in teacher training and enjoyed life.

CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL

WELCOME TO THE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL 2012!

 We are pleased to invite you to this year Christmas Festival

The groups of ESO 1ºB and 2º B will be performing the English charol "War is over" by John Lenon and the French charol "Entre le boeuf et le âne gris". The performance will take place the 20th of December, Teatro Avenida (Jaraíz de la Vera) at 12.00 am.
